How do I start using Gameye?

Do you require authorisation to use the API
Section titled “Do you require authorisation to use the API”Yes. Every API request needs a bearer token. Create one in the Admin Panel under Users > API tokens. See Authentication.
How does Gameye scale?
Section titled “How does Gameye scale?”Because of the way we utilize our capacity in our managed solution, we are able to scale laterally via several locations within the region while also being able to burst into flexible bare metal & cloud solutions once capacity is reached.
What is the difference between a location and a region?
Section titled “What is the difference between a location and a region?”For Gameye we use the regions to determine where players are placed when grouped together via your chosen matchmaker, we then utilise the locations as a way to load-balance the distribution of players across the region.
Is Gameye free to use?
Section titled “Is Gameye free to use?”Gameye is not free but we do offer studios the opportunity to use the platform ‘free of charge’ early in the game process and as a way of testing the integration & application of the platform. In this phase of the Gameye ecosystem, no dynamic scaling is provided.
